Description
Original blade set for Juki MO 6716 Industrial Overlockers
To change the blades on an industrial overlock machine, you'll typically follow these steps:
Ensure the machine is turned off and unplugged for safety.
Locate the screw or screws that hold the blade in place. These screws are usually located on the underside of the machine, near the blade.
Using the appropriate screwdriver, carefully loosen and remove the screws. Keep the screws in a safe place, as you'll need them to secure the new blade.
Gently remove the old blade from its position. Be cautious as the blade may be sharp.
Take the new blade and align it correctly in the blade holder. The blade should fit securely and be positioned correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Some blades may have alignment marks to help you with this.
Once the new blade is in place, reinsert the screws and tighten them securely. Make sure the blade is held firmly in position.
Check the blade to ensure it moves smoothly and freely without any obstruction or misalignment.
Plug in the machine and turn it on to test the new blade. Run a few stitches on scrap fabric to ensure the blade is cutting properly and there are no issues.
Remember to consult your machine's manual for specific instructions related to your model, as the process may vary slightly depending on the brand and type of industrial overlock machine you're using. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with changing the blades yourself, it's always a good idea to seek assistance from a trained technician or contact Konsew LTD for guidance
